It keeps getting better at 5 Mariner Terrace. This
Cityplace tower had a contractor going in and out of units with
a pass key completely unannounced. Building security has no idea
who this contractor is but several residents have complained
about their unit being entered with no notice from anyone. One
woman was frightened coming out of her bedroom to discover a
strange man in her condo. He had a pass key and a drill. No name
tag, no security guard with him, but he had a key. No wonder
Concord asks people to sign their ridiculous
key waiver. They give
anyone a key. Then they tout their "high security" when a
home invasion happens as it did
just a month ago.
If you have your alarm activated at 5 Mariner Terrace you
will have noticed that it went off Sept 7th, 2006. This would be
the mystery contractor. What is really interesting is your alarm
was blasting away and no one noticed. I guess the alarm company
is very Concord in manner since they didn't respond. What are
you paying for? Building security also didn't notice. It appears
only Concord had any knowledge of the man they sent over with a
key. Well Concord and the people who were home when the man
entered their units. The contractor said he gave Concord a weeks
notice. I don't doubt him. Concord just failed to tell anybody.
Here you go, have a key, go make copies for all we care. Case
each unit and come back someday. You can walk right thru the big
open delivery door that been jammed open for a week, hop on the
elevator to any floor, take your loot down and load your truck
right at the aforementioned gate. Alarms can go off, no one will
notice. No one noticed Sept 7th. That's some sweet security at 5
Mariner Terrace. How ever did a armed home invasion go down at CityPlace with such a
fortress!
We've done some investigating and the man was in the building
to hook up the sensors in the AC units. Residents will remember
PCL had deactivated the sensors that were causing the
AC to be useless. Well all Concord did was
send this guy, unannounced, into your unit to simply reattach
this faulty device. Should the chiller for the building go down
again you will be right back where you started. No parts were
changed. No solution to the problem was provided. To top it off
they sent someone over without your knowledge into your unit.
Since a good number of units in 5 Mariner are tenants this is
even worse as landlords are now guilty of illegal entry and your
tenants can take you to arbitration and they will win. You just
breached your lease. If you are using Prompton then you just paid them to screw you and your
tenant. After all Prompton is Concord.
Don't let them fool you.
My guess is they did this so no one would ask questions. They
would figure something was actually fixed. It wasn't. The same
sensor PCL disconnected was simply reconnected. NO PARTS WERE
CHANGED. How is that solving a problem? Why did they
disconnect it in the first place? CityPlace still has central
air systems that are faulty. If it gets to hot or too cold the
sensors will fail and stay in limbo just like this July's heat
wave. You've been warned. Whether you take action against
Concord is up to you. We get a lot of email here, most of it
cheering us on. We appreciate your mail and suggestions but you
have to do a little work yourselves. Its YOUR investment.
There's so much you can sue for its frightening. So have the
courage to do it. Otherwise the money you lose will largely be
your own fault. Concord is wrong to do the nasty things they do
but its your decision to take it.
